Islam is a religion which orders its followers for both physical and spiritual cleanliness. The cleanliness of the heart and the cleanliness of the body should come together in a Muslim.
Islam ordered its followers to keep the environment clean, keep the nails clipped, remove hair from the armpit and even to maintain dental neatness through the use of Miswaak. (Surah Baqarah: Ayat 222)
According to a Hadith, prayers will not be accepted without ablution. But it is really true that ablution is an important thing to do not only before saying prayers; ablution must be performed before numerous other acts of worship including optional prayers, touching the script of the Holy Quran and performing the rites of pilgrimage (Hajj). It is important for every Muslim to know the method of ablution (Wazoou).
If there is no water available to make Wazoo or bath or although there is water available, but it is not possible to use, one can perform Tayyamum with a clean soil, sand, lime and stone.
